Utilizing video marketing to introduce a medical fellowship program

Integrity teamed up with Washington University’s Department of Internal Medicine to create an introductory program for potential candidates for the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Lipid Research program during COVID-19 restrictions. The client desired an effective video series to introduce the clinical and research fellowship program that could help them obtain at least four new postdoctoral students.
Pain Points
Because of the pandemic, it became a challenge for the client and potential postdoctoral candidates to schedule, travel and coordinate in-person activities.
Working with a tight budget and timeline, the Division would have to rely on a video program to showcase its offerings and stay competitive in obtaining fellowship candidates from a limited number of applicants. The videos also needed to address any questions or concerns about living in St. Louis.

Services Provided
Integrity’s strategy and consulting team identified five key topics for potential fellowship candidates:
- What is the program like?
- Why did you choose this program and research?
- What do you enjoy most about the program?
- What’s it like living in St. Louis?
Integrity interviewed professors and current/former fellows to gather insights, which were edited by our video team to address client needs and educate candidates on the program. Despite limited still photography, we used the available content to stay informative while ensuring patient privacy.
The video series attracted hundreds of views, helping Washington University secure a large pool of candidates during the pandemic. The videos were also optimized for ongoing relevance after the pandemic.

“You and your team were incredibly helpful last year. I sincerely appreciate all that you did for us. We were very pleased with the final products.”
